Main new features of ARKS TE version 2.0.0

1. The new powerful Validation  mode, which is designed to select a more adequate kinetic model from several competing ones. The idea is based on comparison of simulated results with available data  from explosive experiments according to one of several criteria. 
2. Essentially enhanced range of possible objects for simulation, inparticular it is now possible to create flat-lid barrels and boxes with multi-layer shells
3. New optimized method of spatial mesh generation when modeling barrels with non-planar lids, which provides faster and more accurate calculations.
4. Possibility to use  kinetic models with pressure-dependent rates.

Version 1.0.0, released  10 October 2022

This is the first version of the ARKS TE program belonging to the TSS-ARKS software line. It replaces the previous ThermEx program from the TSS series. ARKS TE has enhanced functionality and many improvements over ThermEx  - see ARKS TE - simulating Thermal Explosion in solids page for more details.
