Participation in the 7 HFCS-EM |
 |
For the first time CISP expert participated in the 7-th International Heat Flow Calorimetry Symposium on Energetic Materials, hosted by the Center of Expertise for Lifetime Research, TNO Defense, Security and Safety, 17 – 19 May 2010 in Rijswijk, The Netherlands. 3 presentations have been given: - "Specific Features of Kinetics Evaluation in Reaction Hazard Assessment"; - "The Thermal Safety Software series - overview of its structure and functionality", - "Simulation-based procedure for assessment of thermal hazard of energetic materials" The symposium gathered more than 50 participants from all over the world and was very informative both because of interesting presentations made and discussions that took place. Our special thanks to the Organizing committee for brilliant organization that made the meeting not only very useful but also very pleasant.
